This 1917 Craftsman-style house sits on a large lot near the Arkansas governor's mansion in a neighborhood of gracious old homes, according to listing agent Susan Meador. It's on the National Register of Historic Places.
The current owner gave the home a sensitive restoration that retained most of its original craftsmanship as well as its granite, stucco, wood, and other natural materials. It also got upgraded with many modern conveniences, like central air and an induction cooktop.
The house features both formal and informal dining rooms, a study and a butler's pantry. There's a two-bedroom carriage house that brings the total of bedrooms to seven. A wrought-iron fence surrounds the lot. Cars can pull up under a portico to unload passengers.
